Getting There

    From Semmering train station, take a regional bus towards the Hirschenkogel cable car. From the base of the cable car, purchase a round-trip ticket for approximately €24 for adults and €13 for children. The cable car will take you to the summit of Hirschenkogel, a short walk from the Milleniumswarte.

    From Semmering village, follow the well-marked hiking trails towards the Hirschenkogel mountain. The hike to the summit takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your fitness level. Once at the summit, the Milleniumswarte is a short walk away. Note that the ascent involves climbing 155 steps to reach the top of the tower.

    From the Semmering expressway (A2), take the exit towards Semmering. Follow the signs for Carolusstraße and then for the Hirschenkogel cable car. Park at the base of the cable car for free. From there, take the cable car to the summit, a short walk from the Milleniumswarte. Parking at Semmering Bahnhof is available near the station with limited spaces.
