Walking
From the Zauberberg Semmering valley station, the Carolus Monument is a short walk uphill. Follow the signs towards the monument; it's located near the main road and is easily accessible on foot. The walk takes approximately 5-10 minutes.
Public Transport
If arriving by train at Semmering station, take the Zauberberg Shuttle (free during holidays and weekends) to the Semmering pass. From there, it's a short walk to the Carolus Monument. Alternatively, local buses connect the train station with the Semmering pass, from which you can walk to the monument. A single bus fare is approximately €2-3.
Driving
If driving, follow the S6 Semmering Expressway and take the exit for Spital am Semmering or Maria Schutz. The Carolus Monument is located near the Semmering pass. Free parking is available at the Zauberberg valley station, from where you can walk to the monument.
