Getting There

Public Transport

From Semmering train station, Semmering Hirschenkogel is approximately a 20-25 minute walk. Alternatively, take the RUFbus Semmering-Rax, a bookable on-demand bus service, from the train station to the base of Hirschenkogel. Booking in advance via their app or hotline is required. Driving

The final ascent to the Hirschenkogel summit is via the 8-seater gondola lift. These tickets also include admission to the Millennium Observatory, Hirschi playground, and hiking routes.
