Car
If you are traveling by car, navigate to Graz via the A9 motorway. Once in Graz, take the exit for Graz-West and follow the signs for the city center. Continue onto the B67, which will lead you directly into the heart of Graz. Look for signs pointing towards Stadtpark. Once you reach Stadtpark, find parking nearby, as parking in the city can be limited. The Orangerie Graz is located at Stadtpark 2, 8010 Graz, right within the park area.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a regional train to Graz Hauptbahnhof (main train station). From the Hauptbahnhof, you can switch to tram line 1 or 7 towards 'Graz, Hauptplatz'. Get off at the 'Jakominiplatz' stop. From there, switch to tram line 3 towards 'Graz, St. Peter'. Disembark at the 'Stadtpark' stop. From the tram stop, it's a short walk to the Orangerie Graz, located at Stadtpark 2. Note that a single tram ticket costs approximately €2.30.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the city center or have taken public transport to the city center, you can walk to the Orangerie Graz. From the main square (Hauptplatz), head southeast towards the Stadtpark. Walk along the Herrengasse street until you reach the entrance to Stadtpark. Once in the park, follow the paths towards the center where you will find the Orangerie Graz located at Stadtpark 2. This walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
