Walking
The Lindwurmbrunnen is located in the center of Neuer Platz, making it easily accessible on foot from most central locations in Klagenfurt. From the Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station), head south on Bahnhofstraße for about 600 meters. Turn left onto St. Veiter Straße and walk for approximately 500 meters until you reach Neuer Platz. The fountain will be directly in front of you. Walking from the Landhaus, head east on Landhausstraße towards the Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall). Continue straight until you reach Neuer Platz.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus, many routes stop near Neuer Platz. Check local bus schedules for the most convenient route. From Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof, take bus line 1 or 2 towards the city center and get off at Neuer Platz. A single bus fare within Klagenfurt is approximately €2-3.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Klagenfurt. A short taxi ride from the Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof to Neuer Platz will cost approximately €10-15. Ride-sharing services like Uber are not common in Klagenfurt.
Parking
If driving, parking is available in the City Arkaden car park, accessible via St. Veiter Ring, with the first hour costing €2.00. Alternatively, short-term parking zones are available around the ring road for €0.90 per 30 minutes. Longer parking options are available on the edge of the short-term parking zone for €7 per day. Free parking for 15 minutes is available if you note your arrival time and leave within that period.
