    From central Vienna, take the U2 subway to Praterstern station, then transfer to the S3 train to Mödling Bahnhof. From Mödling Bahnhof, take the 265 bus to Gaaden Babenbergerstraße. From there, follow the hiking trails to Wilhelmswarte, approximately a 2-hour hike. Bus fare from Mödling to Gaaden is approximately €2-€11. A VOR Klima Ticket will allow free travel on the Postbus Shuttle in the Modling region.

    From Gaaden, several well-marked hiking trails lead to the Wilhelmswarte. The most direct route starts near the Berggasse/Am Anninger junction and involves a 2-hour uphill hike. Follow signs for Anninger Schutzhaus and Wilhelmswarte. Note that the trails can be steep and rocky in places. Parking is available in Gaaden, but can be limited.
