Walking
From the center of Mödling, head towards Jägerhausgasse. Follow the signs directing you to Burgruine Mödling. The walk is steep in places, but offers views of the surrounding area. The walking time from Mödling train station is approximately 20-30 minutes.
Public Transport
From Mödling train station, take bus number 259, 263, or 264 to Jasomirgottgasse. From there, it is a short walk to Burgruine Mödling. A single bus ticket within the Vienna region costs around €2.40.
Car
From Vienna, take the A2 motorway and exit at Mödling (Exit 8). Follow the signs to Mödling and then navigate to Jägerhausgasse 11. Limited street parking is available near the ruins. Parking is available at Goldenen Stiege 22, 2340 Mödling. Parking is free. From the parking area, follow the hiking trails to the castle.
