Getting there

Walking

From the center of Eisenstadt, head towards the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). Once you reach the station, take a train to Vienna. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station), exit the station and head towards the U1 subway line. Take the U1 subway towards Leopoldau and get off at Stephansplatz. From Stephansplatz, exit the station and walk towards the east along the Graben street. Continue walking straight until you reach Josefsplatz, which is located just a few minutes away.

Bus

From Eisenstadt, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the bus line 1 towards Vienna. The bus will take you directly to Wien Erdberg. From Erdberg, transfer to the U3 subway line towards Ottakring. After a few stops, get off at Stephansplatz. Once you exit the subway, walk east on Graben street until you arrive at Josefsplatz. The total travel time is approximately 1 hour.

Train

Start at Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). Purchase a ticket to Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station). Board the next train heading to Vienna; it usually departs every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof, transfer to the U1 subway line. Take the U1 towards Leopoldau and disembark at Stephansplatz. Exit the subway station and walk east along Graben street to reach Josefsplatz.
