Getting There

    If you're driving from the center of Vienna, take the A1 motorway towards Linz. Exit at 'Alland' and follow the signs towards Mayerling. The castle is located at Mayerling 3, 2534 Alland. There is free parking available on site. The total driving time is about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

  • Public Transportation

    From Vienna, take the S-Bahn (S2 or S3) from Wien Meidling station towards 'Leobersdorf' or 'Bad Vöslau'. Get off at 'Mayerling' station, which is the closest stop to Schloss Mayerling. From the station, it is about a 20-minute walk (1.5 km) to the castle. Follow the signs towards Mayerling. Please note that the S-Bahn ticket will cost approximately €3.50 for a one-way trip.
