    Start your journey at any central location in Vienna. Head to the nearest metro station and take the U4 line towards Hütteldorf. You will need to get off at the Schönbrunn station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs towards Schönbrunn Palace. As you walk towards the palace, you will see the beautiful gardens. Continue walking past the palace towards the gardens. Keep an eye out for signs that guide you towards the Japanese Garden, which is located along Rustenallee. The garden is situated in the Hietzing district, and you will find it nestled among other gardens in this beautiful area.
