Once you exit the station, follow the signs towards Schönbrunn Palace. As you walk towards the palace, you will see the beautiful gardens. Continue walking past the palace towards the gardens. Keep an eye out for signs that guide you towards the Japanese Garden, which is located along Rustenallee. The garden is situated in the Hietzing district, and you will find it nestled among other gardens in this beautiful area.

If you are already in the Schönbrunn area, simply walk towards the Schönbrunn Palace entrance. Once inside the gardens, stroll along the pathways that lead to the Japanese Garden. Look for the Japanese Garden signs along the way. The garden is located at Rustenallee, which is a short walk from the main pathways of the palace gardens.

From the city center, make your way to the nearest tram stop for line 10 or 58. Board the tram heading towards Hietzing. Get off at the stop called 'Rustenallee.' From there, it’s just a short walk down Rustenallee to reach the Japanese Garden. Follow the path signs and you will find the entrance to the garden.
