  • Public Transport

    From the city center (Stephansplatz), take the U1 subway line (red line) in the direction of Leopoldau. Travel for 3 stops and get off at the station 'Karlsplatz'. Here, transfer to the U2 line (purple line) towards 'Karlsplatz' and ride for 1 stop to 'Schottentor'. Once you exit the subway station, you will find yourself at the intersection of Schottengasse and Universitätsstraße. Walk north along Universitätsstraße for about 5 minutes; you will pass the University of Vienna on your left. Continue straight until you reach Spitalgasse. Turn right on Spitalgasse and after a short walk, you will see the 'Narrenturm' (Pathologisch-anatomische Sammlung) on your left at Spitalgasse 2.

    From the Ringstraße area (near the Opera House), board tram line 1 (red line) at 'Oper' station in the direction of 'Prater'. After 6 stops, get off at 'Schottentor'. From there, walk north along Universitätsstraße for about 5 minutes until you reach Spitalgasse. Turn right on Spitalgasse, and the 'Narrenturm' (Pathologisch-anatomische Sammlung) will be on your left at Spitalgasse 2.
