  • Public Transport - Metro

    If you are near the city center, make your way to the nearest U-Bahn (metro) station. Take the U1 line (red line) in the direction of Leopoldau. Get off at the 'Praterstern' station (approximately 4 stops). From the 'Praterstern' station, take the exit towards 'Prater' and follow the signs to the 'Wiener Riesenrad' (Giant Ferris Wheel). Continue walking towards the Prater Park. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach Oswald-Thomas-Platz where the Vienna Planetarium is located.

    Locate the nearest tram stop and board tram line 1 (the Ring tram) towards 'Leopoldau.' After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Praterstern' stop.
