Each of the 1,000 windows is unique, and residents have the right to decorate the facade around their windows to their own taste. The Hundertwasser House also features a roof covered with earth and grass, further blending the building with its natural surroundings.While visitors cannot explore the inside of the apartments, the exterior of the Hundertwasser House is a sight to behold. Opposite the building is the Hundertwasser Village, a shopping center designed by Hundertwasser in his signature style. The Hundertwasser Village features shops, cafes, and a bar, as well as the Hundertwasser Toilets. A short walk away is the Kunst Haus Wien, a museum dedicated to Hundertwasser's work, offering a deeper understanding of his artistic vision.
