From Vienna, take the S-Bahn (S2 or S3) to Baden bei Wien. The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs between €2-€6. From Baden train station, take bus line 365 towards Alland and get off at the 'Rauheneck' stop. Bus tickets can be purchased at the station for approximately €2.10. From the bus stop, it's a 15-20 minute uphill walk to the castle ruins.

From Vienna, take the A2 motorway towards Graz. Exit at Baden (Exit 27) and follow signs for Baden. Once in Baden, follow the local roads to Burgruine Rauheneck. Parking is available near the entrance, and there may be a small parking fee. Parking fees are not available.
