Getting There

  • Subway

    If you're in the city center, head to the nearest U-Bahn station (subway station) and take the U1 line (red line) in the direction of Leopoldau. Get off at the Stephansplatz station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the southwest to reach the Graben. Continue walking straight until you reach the Mölker Bastei, which is about a 10-minute walk from Stephansplatz.

    Locate the nearest tram stop. You can take Tram 1 or Tram 2. If you take Tram 1, board in the direction of Schwedenplatz and get off at the Schwedenplatz stop. From there, walk east along the Danube Canal, then head north towards Mölker Bastei. It’s about a 15-minute walk. If you take Tram 2, board in the direction of Karlsplatz and get off at the Stadtpark stop, then walk northwest for about 15 minutes to reach Mölker Bastei.

    Find the nearest bus stop and take Bus 1A in the direction of Schwedenplatz. Get off at the Mölker Bastei stop. From the bus stop, walk a short distance southwest along the road until you reach Mölker Bastei. This should take around 5 minutes.
