Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are in the city center, take the U-Bahn (subway). Board the U3 line (the yellow line) at any station in the Innere Stadt. If you are near Stephansplatz, it's just a short walk to the station. Travel towards 'Ottakring' and get off at the 'Zieglergasse' station. From there, exit the station and walk south on Zieglergasse until you reach the intersection with Griechengasse. Turn left onto Griechengasse. The Rare secular gothic facade is located at number 4, on your right side.

    If you prefer to walk, start at Stephansplatz, the central square. From there, head northwest towards Graben, one of Vienna's famous streets. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kohlmarkt. Turn left onto Kohlmarkt and proceed to the end where it meets the Hofburg Palace. Walk around the palace towards the left and head to the Burggarten park. Exit the park on the western side and continue to Griechengasse.
