    Walking

    Schillerplatz is located in the Innere Stadt and is easily accessible by foot from many central locations. From Karlsplatz, walk north along the Opernring, then turn left onto Nibelungengasse. Schillerplatz will be on your left. The walk is approximately 5 minutes. No costs involved.

    Public Transport

    Schillerplatz is well-served by Vienna's public transport system. Take the U1, U2, or U4 subway lines to Karlsplatz station. From there, it's a short walk to Schillerplatz. Alternatively, take tram lines 1, 2, D, or 71 to the Opernring stop, which is also close to the square. A single ticket costs €2.40.
