Getting There

  • Public Transport - U-Bahn

    To reach Schillerplatz, head to the nearest U-Bahn station. If you are at Stephansplatz station (U1 and U3 lines), take the U1 (red line) towards Oberlaa. Travel for one stop and get off at the Karlsplatz station. Transfer to the U2 (purple line) and take it towards Stadion. Travel one stop and alight at the Schottenring station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the Ringstraße. Schillerplatz is just a short 5-minute walk away, located near the Vienna State Opera.

  • Tram

    If you prefer to take the tram, find the nearest tram stop. If you are near the Ringstraße, take tram line D towards Nussdorf. Travel until you reach the stop 'Karlsplatz'. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Schillerplatz via the Opernring. Head towards the Vienna State Opera, and you will find Schillerplatz adjacent to it.
