Kuffner Observatory: A Window to the Stars

Located in Vienna's Ottakring district, the Kuffner Observatory provides a unique blend of history, science, and education. Founded in 1884 by Moriz von Kuffner, head of the Ottakringer brewery, the observatory quickly gained international recognition as a private research facility. Weather permitting, visitors can observe celestial objects through powerful telescopes.
