The journey time is approximately 1 hour, with trains departing hourly. From the Retz train station, it is a 15-20 minute walk to the Sgraffitohaus. Alternatively, the Retz guest taxi can be arranged in advance. A single train ticket from Vienna to Retz costs approximately €15-€22.
Parking
Parking around the Hauptplatz is limited to 1.5 hours and requires a parking clock during the week. There are parking options available at Retz Bahnhof. There are also 60 parking spaces on two parking levels below the Althof, with direct lift access. The parking fee is € 8 per day. There is also a parking lot in Katastralgemeinde Retz Stadt.
