Public Transport

The 898 bus route has a stop at Horn Hauptplatz. From there, follow the walking directions. Bus tickets typically cost around €2-3 for a short trip within Horn.

Driving

From the center of Horn, follow Wiener Strasse (Wr. Str.) east. Limited parking is available near the museum. Free motorhome parking is available on Spitalgasse close to the Festgelande. Parking is free, but there is a small charge for water and electricity.

The museum is not a tourist destination, but it is a lovely town to spend a little time exploring.The museum comprises a prehistoric exhibition and an exhibit dedicated to 'Man. Soil. Technology - 7500 Years of Agriculture'. Delve into the city's history and the Reformation, examine an antique cabinet, marvel at the mineral exhibition and lapidarium, and enjoy interactive stations designed for children, including a giant silo slide.Displays include finds from prehistoric researcher Prof. Josef Höbarth, and the agricultural collection of Ernst Mader is exhibited in a specially equipped barn hall.
