    Car

    From Vienna, take the A22 and B30 to Hardegg. Follow signs towards Merkersdorf. The National Park House is located 1.5 km outside Hardegg on the road to Merkersdorf. Parking is available at the National Park House free of charge, but can be limited during peak season. Expect a drive of approximately 1.5 hours from Vienna.

    Public Transport

    From Vienna, take a train to Retz. From Retz, take a bus to Hardegg Nationalparkhaus. The bus stop is located directly at the National Park House. The train journey from Vienna to Retz takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes, with the bus journey taking approximately another hour. A train ticket from Vienna to Retz costs €15-€22. Bus tickets cost approximately €5-10.

    Walking

    From the center of Hardegg, it's a pleasant 1.5 km walk to the National Park House. Follow the main road towards Merkersdorf. The walk takes approximately 20-30 minutes.
