From there, the route winds its way down through an enchanting forest landscape, descending 900 meters to the valley station in Vipiteno/Sterzing. The run features a variety of twists, turns, and gradients, ensuring a thrilling and varied ride. For those seeking a unique experience, night sledding is available every Friday evening from late December to late February, with the run illuminated by floodlights. In addition to the classic toboggan run, Rosskopf also features the Panorama Mountain Coaster, a summer toboggan run that opened in 2021. This coaster starts at the mountain station of the Panorama Lift and descends 1.3 kilometers with speeds up to 40 km/h. The summer toboggan run will reopen in the summer season of 2025. The Rosskopf area is easily accessible via a modern 10-person gondola lift from Sterzing. The valley station is conveniently located near the town center.
