Walking
From the center of Trins, follow the signs toward the Sarnthein Waterfall. The well-marked trail (primarily trail 54) starts near Hotel Zita. Walk to St. Barbara Chapel in about 15 minutes, then continue on trail 54 for another 15-25 minutes to the waterfall. The path is relatively easy and family-friendly. Free parking is available near the entrance to Trins.
Public Transport
From Innsbruck, take bus line 560 to Steinach a. Br. Bahnhof A. Transfer to bus line 4146 towards Trins. Get off at the 'Trins Gemeindeamt' (Trins Town Hall) stop. From the bus stop, it's approximately a 20-30 minute walk to the waterfall. A single bus fare from Innsbruck to Trins is approximately €5-€9. Check the VVT (Verkehrsverbund Tirol) website for current schedules and ticket information.
