    From Mittenwald, take the 431 bus towards Seefeld and get off at the 'Leutasch Geisterklamm' stop. From Seefeld, take the 430 bus to Leutasch and get off at the 'Leutasch Geisterklamm' bus stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs to the gorge entrance. Bus tickets cost between €2-€4.

    From Mittenwald, follow the signs towards Leutasch and the Leutascher Geisterklamm. The walk takes you along the Leutascher Ache river and offers scenic views. From Leutasch, follow the signs to the Leutascher Geisterklamm, which is a short walk from the village center.

The Leutascher Geisterklamm, also known as Leutaschklamm, is a stunning gorge located near Mittenwald and Leutasch, straddling the Bavarian-Tyrolean border. Carved over thousands of years by the Leutascher Ache river, the gorge reaches depths of up to 75 meters and stretches for 1,650 meters, making it the longest accessible gorge in the Eastern Limestone Alps.Opened to tourists in 2006, the gorge features steel walkways and bridges that allow visitors to safely explore its depths and admire the cascading waterfalls and unique rock formations. The name "Geisterklamm," or Spirit Gorge, comes from local legends of a mountain spirit and goblins said to inhabit the gorge, adding a mystical charm to the experience.The Leutascher Geisterklamm offers three themed trails: the Klammsteig (Gorge Path), Koboldpfad (Goblin Path), and Wasserfallsteig (Waterfall Trail). The Goblin Path is a 2km circular trail with interactive signs, statues, and musical instruments. The Waterfall Trail leads to a 23-meter-high waterfall and costs €3 for adults and €1 for children.Visitors can also explore the surrounding area, including the charming towns of Mittenwald and Leutasch, and enjoy other outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling.
