Public Transport
From Klagenfurt city center (Heiligengeistplatz), take STW bus line 10, 11, or 20 towards Minimundus. Get off at the Minimundus Park+Ride stop, a short 3-minute walk to Reptilienzoo Happ. A single bus fare is approximately €2-3. Alternatively, take bus line 40 or 41 to Heiligengeistplatz, then transfer to STW bus line 10, 11, or 20 towards Minimundus. This journey takes approximately 15 minutes.
Walking
From Klagenfurt West train station, Reptilienzoo Happ is a short 300m (5-minute) walk. Exit the station and follow the signs towards Minimundus. The zoo is located next to the Lend Canal cycle and walking path, near Europapark.
Car
From Villach, take the A2 towards Vienna and exit at Klagenfurt-Wörthersee. At the next set of traffic lights, turn left onto Villacher Straße. Continue for a short distance; Reptilienzoo Happ will be on your right. A large parking lot is available for visitors free of charge. From the city center, follow Villacher Straße. Parking is readily available.

Founded in 1976, the zoo is home to over 1,000 animals representing 175 species from around the globe. Visitors can observe a wide array of reptiles, including the reticulated python, one of the world's largest snakes, and the venomous Taipan and King Cobra.
The zoo features a diverse collection of lizards, snakes, turtles, and crocodiles. Native European reptiles are a focus, with successful breeding programs in place. The facility also includes an insectarium with tarantulas and scorpions, a dinosaur park with life-size models, and a petting zoo with rabbits and guinea pigs. Knowledgeable staff host shows where visitors can learn about the animals and even touch some of them. Crocodile and piranha feedings take place on Saturday afternoons.
