The park's location is significant, as it was once the site of the grand Hotel Elisabeth, a luxurious establishment that hosted numerous noblemen and noblewomen, including members of the Habsburg family. The hotel marked the beginning of tourism in Zell am See but was later replaced by the park due to railway expansions.As you enter Elisabethpark, you are immediately greeted by vibrant flowerbeds showcasing a kaleidoscope of colors that change with the seasons.
