Public Transport
From any train station in Zillertal, take the Zillertalbahn (Zillertal Railway) to Kaltenbach-Stumm station. From there, transfer to Postbus line 4100 towards Hainzenberg. Get off at the 'Hainzenberg Dörfl' stop. From the bus stop, it's approximately a 10-minute walk uphill to the Gerlosstein Cable Car base station. A single bus fare from Kaltenbach to Hainzenberg is approximately €4-6. Then take the Gerlosstein Cable Car to the top; round trip Summer 2024 prices without the Zillertal Activcard were: Adults: €55.50, Young people (2005-2008): €50.00, Children (2009-2017): €38.90.
Driving
Drive to Hainzenberg, Dörfl 396. Free parking is available near the base of the Gerlosstein Cable Car. From the parking area, purchase a round-trip ticket for the Gerlosstein Cable Car. In summer 2024, prices without the Zillertal Activcard were: Adults: €55.50, Young people (2005-2008): €50.00, Children (2009-2017): €38.90. The Almflieger entrance is right next to the mountain station.

Spanning up to 738 meters in length, these routes propel adventurers through the air at speeds reaching 50 km/h, providing an unmatched sense of freedom and excitement. The experience involves flying over the Gerlosstein area, offering unique views.
The Almflieger is located near the Gerlosstein Cable Car mountain station at an altitude of 1,650 m. Participants must weigh between 40 kg and 120 kg and should not be afraid of heights. Sportswear and sturdy shoes are required, and children up to 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult. The equipment, including a helmet and harness, is provided on-site.
