    To reach Gobustan Caves from Baku, take bus 125 from Azneft Square to the Karvansaray Shopping Centre (0.40 AZN). Then, transfer to the south-bound bus 195 (1.30 AZN) to Gobustan town. From Gobustan town, a taxi to the National Park costs approximately 12 AZN. The journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours.

    A taxi directly from Baku to Gobustan National Park is a convenient but more expensive option. Negotiate the fare beforehand, as prices can vary. A one-way trip may cost around 45 AZN or more, depending on your negotiation skills and the inclusion of other sites like mud volcanoes. Be aware that not all taxis may be willing to drive off-road to the mud volcanoes.
