The Shahdag Coaster is a mountain roller coaster located in the Shahdag Mountain Resort in Azerbaijan, near the village of Kuzun. Public Transport
From Baku, take a bus from Baku International Bus Station to Gusar. Buses depart regularly between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, costing approximately 4 AZN. The journey to Gusar takes around 4-5 hours. From Gusar Bus Station, hire a taxi to Shahdag Mountain Resort, which costs approximately 10-15 AZN. Once at the resort, follow signs to the Shahdag Coaster.
Taxi
From Quba, a taxi to Shahdag Mountain Resort takes approximately 45 minutes and costs between 12-15 AZN. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting the journey. The taxi will drop you off near the entrance of the coaster.
Driving
If driving from Baku, the journey to Shahdag Mountain Resort is approximately 3 hours. Take the Baku-Guba-Gusar highway. Fuel up before leaving Baku, as gas stations may be scarce along the route. From Guba, head southwest on the Guba-Ruslan road (A1) for approximately 35 kilometers and follow the signs for Shahdag Mountain Resort. Parking is available at the resort; however, availability may be limited during peak season.
