Cümhuriyyət Bağı: A Green Oasis in Baku

Cümhuriyyət Bağı, often referred to as Sahil Bağı, is a cherished green retreat located in the center of Baku, Azerbaijan. Situated at the intersection of major streets like Khagani, Bulbul Avenue, Uzeyir Hajibeyov, and Rashid Behbudov, and directly in front of the Azerbaijan National Library named after Mirza Fatali Akhundzade, the park is surrounded by historical buildings and cultural landmarks, making it a convenient and attractive destination for both residents and visitors. Historically, the area was known as 26 Baku Commissars Square during the Soviet era.
