Getting There

  • Public Transport

    To reach Bahrain International Airport by public transport, travelers can take bus routes A1, A2, 10, or 11 from Manama. The A2 bus is the fastest, reaching Bab Al Bahrain Station in the city center in 15-20 minutes. These buses depart from Zone 4A, accessible via Exits 3 or 4 on the Arrivals level. A single bus ticket costs BHD 0.300. A 'Go Card' can be purchased for BHD 0.500, offering a reduced fare of BHD 0.25 per journey and a maximum daily charge of BHD 0.60.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available 24/7 at Car Park B, located near the Passenger Terminal Building. Follow signs from the baggage claim area. Operators include Bahrain Taxi Group, Speedy Motors, and Arabian Taxi. A taxi ride to Manama typically takes 15-20 minutes. Fares are metered, with an initial charge of BHD 2, plus BHD 2 for airport pickup. Expect to pay at least BHD 6 to Manama.

    From central Manama, follow Palace Avenue and Shaikh Hamad Causeway to Muharraq. Then, follow the signs to Bahrain International Airport. Parking is available in several car parks. Car Park A offers premium parking at BHD 0.400 per hour for the first 20 hours and BHD 10 per day. Car Park D is a long-term option at BHD 3 per day, with a free shuttle service to the terminal every 15 minutes.
