Getting There

  • Driving

    From Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, head south towards the King Fahd Causeway. The journey is straightforward, as the causeway is well-signposted. After passing through the Saudi side of the Border Station, you will cross several bridges and artificial islands before reaching the Bahrain side. Be prepared for toll fees of approximately SAR 25. Ensure you have the correct currency or a method of electronic payment. The entire drive from Al Khobar to the Bahrain side of the causeway typically takes around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • Public Transport

    From Manama, Bahrain, take Bus 13 or 16 from the Manama Bus Terminal in Sitra towards Khalifa Al Ghanem Street. Alight at the Al Jasra stop, which is a 10-minute walk to the entrance of the King Fahd Causeway. Note that public transport only gets you to the entrance; you cannot cross the causeway via public transport. From the entrance, you can hire a taxi to cross the causeway. The taxi fare to cross the causeway and reach Al Khobar would be approximately 50-60 BHD. Bus fare from Manama to Al Jasra is approximately 0.3 BHD.
