Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Barisal Railway Station, exit the station and head southeast on Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Dhaka-Barisal Highway. Cross the highway carefully and continue straight along the road. After about 1 km, you will reach the intersection with the Patuakhali Road. Take a right at the intersection and walk straight for about 500 meters. Shaheed Shukkur Gofur Park will be on your left, located at P97G+8R5, Shahapara.

• Rickshaw

  If you prefer to take a rickshaw, you can easily find one near major locations like Barisal Sadar or the railway station. Simply tell the driver to take you to Shaheed Shukkur Gofur Park, located at P97G+8R5, Shahapara. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in the city. Start your ride from the Barisal Sadar area and head towards the Dhaka-Barisal Highway. Once you reach the highway, continue straight until you reach the Patuakhali Road intersection. Turn right and ride straight for about 500 meters until you see Shaheed Shukkur Gofur Park on your left.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you're taking public transport, look for local buses or mini-buses heading towards Shahapara. You can hop on one from major bus stops in Barisal. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Shaheed Shukkur Gofur Park. Once you get off, the park will be a short walk away, located at P97G+8R5. Just follow the signs or ask locals for directions.
