Road
From the major city of Bogura, direct bus services to Paharpur are not available. Instead, travel to Joypurhat from the Charmatha bus stand in Bogura. Buses to Joypurhat depart approximately every hour, with a journey time of about two hours. From the Joypurhat bus station, take a bus to Paharpur, which takes around 30 minutes. Once in Paharpur, you will be dropped off at an intersection. Follow the road on your left to reach Somapura Vihara. A rickshaw from this intersection to the entrance gate costs approximately 50 Tk, or you can walk for about 30-45 minutes. Bus fare from Bogra to Joypurhat: ~80 Tk Bus fare from Joypurhat to Paharpur: ~20 Tk Rickshaw fare from Paharpur intersection to Somapura Vihara: ~50 Tk
