Getting There

• Walking from Chittagong Railway Station

  From Chittagong Railway Station, exit and head southwest on Station Road toward Sadarghat Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Dewan Bazar. Turn left onto Dewan Bazar Road and walk for approximately 700 meters until you see the entrance to the 5 No. Mohra Ward. The Aggmeda Khyang Monastery is located in this area, approximately 300 meters from the main road. Keep an eye out for local signage and the distinctive architecture of the monastery.

• Public Bus from Chittagong Bus Terminal

  From the Chittagong Bus Terminal, board a bus heading towards the 5 No. Mohra area. Inform the conductor that you are going to Aggmeda Khyang Monastery. The bus ride should take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the nearest stop to the monastery, disembark and ask locals for directions to Aggmeda Khyang Monastery, which is a short 10-minute walk away. Tell the rickshaw driver you want to go to Aggmeda Khyang Monastery in the 5 No. Mohra Ward. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic conditions. • Walking from the nearest landmark (Shah Amanat Bridge)

  If you are near Shah Amanat Bridge, you can walk to Aggmeda Khyang Monastery. Head west from the bridge on the main road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Dewan Bazar Road. Turn right and continue for another 800 meters. Look for local signs and guidance as you approach the 5 No. Mohra Ward, where the monastery is located approximately 300 meters from the main road.
