St. Martin's Island, a serene jewel in the Bay of Bengal, is Bangladesh's only coral island. Arabian merchants first settled here in the 18th century, naming it 'Jazira'. During British rule, it was renamed St. Martin's Island.Today, St. Martin's is a haven of natural beauty.
