Chest's Place a small Guest House, of great value for what it offers. I hesitated at first but the reviews were so positive I book a short stay before heading on to one of the Islands. It is very clean, with a charm of old, on a very quiet street, in the heart of Bangkok! You find so many jewels nearby like the Grand Palace, numerous temples, early morning street markets. A boat can take you to Chula University and you can explore the great shopping center in that part of town. You can take the immaculate subway to the Lumpini Park for a nice stroll with the famous lizards, don't get too close! Across, a shopping center offering open sky views into the city.
