From Sylhet city, take a CNG auto-rickshaw from Amberkhana point to Hadarpar Bazar in Gowainghat Upazila. A reserved CNG for the whole day may cost between 1000-1500 BDT. From Hadarpar, hire a boat to reach Panthumai Waterfall. Negotiate the boat fare, which typically ranges from 800-1500 BDT for a trip including Panthumai, Bichnakandi, and Lakshmanchara. The boat will take you close to the waterfall, allowing you to enjoy the view from the Bangladesh side. Parking fees at Hadarpar Bazar are around 20 BDT.

From Sylhet, catch a local bus from Kumarpara bus stand towards Gowainghat. Get off at Hadarpar Bazar. Bus fare is around 60-80 BDT. From Hadarpar, negotiate with local boatmen for a boat ride to Panthumai Waterfall. Boat rentals typically range from 800-1500 BDT depending on the size and negotiation. Consider visiting Bichnakandi and Lakshmanchara along with Panthumai to make the most of the boat rental.
