Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, head towards the main entrance of Lawachara National Park. From the entrance, continue on the main road for about 2 kilometers. Look for signage indicating 'আলিয়াছড়া (গুলবাহার) খাসিয়া পুঞ্জি'. Turn onto the dirt path which leads directly to the Khasiya Punji. Parking may be limited, so be mindful of where you leave your vehicle.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach আলিয়াছড়া (গুলবাহার) খাসিয়া পুঞ্জি via public transport, take a local bus or shared van from the nearest bus station to Lawachara National Park that heads towards the park. The fare is generally around 30-50 BDT. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can either walk about 2 kilometers on the main road or hire a local rickshaw (around 100-150 BDT) to take you to the Khasiya Punji. Be sure to ask the driver to drop you at the entrance to the village.

    If you're already within Lawachara National Park, you can walk to আলিয়াছড়া (গুলবাহার) খাসিয়া পুঞ্জি. Start from the park's visitor center and follow the main path leading out of the park. Walk straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach a point where you see a fork in the road. Take the left path, and you will soon arrive at the Khasiya Punji. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
