From Kaptai town center, local CNG auto-rickshaws (tuk-tuks) are the most common way to reach various points along Kaptai Lake. Negotiate the fare beforehand, typically ranging from 50-100 BDT depending on the distance to your desired lakeside location. Key landmarks to mention to the driver include the Kaptai National Park entrance or specific resorts along the lake's edge.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are scarce in Kaptai. Ride-sharing services are not widely available. However, you can hire a private car from Rangamati or Chittagong to reach Kaptai Lake. From Kaptai town, you can hire a local CNG auto-rickshaw to reach the lake. The cost for hiring a CNG auto-rickshaw from Kaptai town to the lake is approximately 50-100 BDT.
