Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Rangamati, head northeast on the Kaptai Road. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction for the road leading to the Ritang Katal Waterfall. It's marked with signs for tourists. Turn left at this junction and follow the road for approximately 5 kilometers until you see a small parking area. Please note that parking may incur a small fee (around 20-50 BDT). After parking, you will need to hike approximately 1 kilometer along a marked trail to reach the waterfall.

  • Public Transportation

    From the main bus terminal in Rangamati, take a local minibus heading towards Kaptai. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction for Ritang Katal Waterfall. The fare is usually around 30-50 BDT. After getting off, you will need to walk for about 5 kilometers along the road toward the waterfall. Alternatively, you can hire a rickshaw from the junction for around 200 BDT to take you closer to the waterfall trailhead. The rickshaw can drop you off at the small parking area, and from there, you will need to hike approximately 1 kilometer to reach the waterfall.
