    From the Rangpur District Administration Office, walk east along Hanuman-tola road, then turn left onto Police Line Road. The zoo entrance will be on your left. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes.

    From Rangpur Bus Terminal, take a local bus heading towards the city center. Ask the conductor to drop you off near Police Line Road, close to Hanuman-tola road. From there, it's a short walk to the zoo entrance. Bus fare is typically 15-30 BDT.

    From anywhere in Rangpur city, a taxi or rickshaw can take you to Rangpur Zoo on Police Line Road. A taxi ride from a central location like the Rangpur Bus Terminal will cost approximately 100-200 BDT, plus a starting fee of 100 BDT. Rangpur Zoo, officially known as Recreation Park and Rangpur Zoo, is a 21.51-acre zoological garden in Rangpur, Bangladesh. Established in 1989 and opened to the public in 1991, it's the largest zoo in North Bengal and the second largest in Bangladesh. The zoo was founded by Former President Ershad, who donated land for a zoo with a large park in the center of town. The zoo houses over 215 individual animals representing 26 species, including mammals, birds, and reptiles. Visitors can observe lions, Bengal tigers, hippopotamuses, crocodiles, peacocks, and various species of deer and monkeys. The zoo also features a diverse collection of birds, including cassowaries, vultures, parrots, and herons. In addition to its animal exhibits, Rangpur Zoo boasts a children's park with rides, picnic spots, a restaurant, and an artificial lake. The zoo aims to educate visitors about different animal species and their habitats, raising awareness about wildlife conservation. The zoo is located on the east side of Hanuman-tola road beside Police Line Road, not far from Rangpur District Administration Office. It is open every day of the week.
