    The primary way to reach St. Martin's Island is by ferry from Teknaf, the southernmost part of Bangladesh. Several ships operate daily during the winter season (November to March/April), departing around 9:00-9:30 AM and returning around 3:00-3:30 PM. From Dhaka, take a bus to Teknaf (approx. 12-13 hours, AC bus fare: 1300-1700 Tk, non-AC: 850-950 Tk). Alternatively, fly to Cox's Bazar from Dhaka and then take a bus or car to Teknaf. Bus fare from Cox's Bazar to Teknaf is approximately 140 Tk. Ferry tickets from Teknaf to St. Martin's Island range from 800 to 2100 Tk depending on the ship and class. Popular ferry services include Keari Sindabad, Keari Cruise & Dine, MV Bay Cruise, and Atlantic Cruise. It is advisable to book tickets in advance. During the off-season (May-August/September), ferry services may be limited or unavailable due to rough sea conditions. Travel by trawler or speedboat is possible but not recommended due to safety concerns.
