Head towards Shapla Chattar in Khagrachhari, where the Jeep Owners Association office is located. Negotiate a round-trip fare (typically BDT 8,000-10,000) for the entire jeep, which can accommodate 10-12 people. The route passes through Dighinala and Baghaihat; all vehicles must register at the Baghaihat Army Camp before proceeding. Army escorts usually depart at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM daily. Ensure you factor in waiting time for the escort. There are no additional tolls or entry fees for the route itself.

For budget-conscious travelers, an alternative is to take a bus from Khagrachhari to Dighinala (BDT 45 per person) and then hire a shared jeep or 'Chander Gari' from Dighinala to Sajek. Shared jeeps are available but may require waiting for a full vehicle. Expect to pay around BDT 800-1000 per person for a shared jeep ride to Sajek. As with the direct jeep option, registration at Baghaihat Army Camp and travel with the army escort are mandatory. This option may take longer due to waiting times and transfers.
