Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Sylhet city center. Head southeast on the Sylhet-Moulvibazar Road (N2) and continue for approximately 30 kilometers. You will pass through lush green landscapes and small villages. Look for signs indicating 'Madhabkunda Waterfall,' as they will guide you closer. Once you reach the Madhabkunda area, turn onto Madhabkunda Water Fall Road and follow it for about 5 kilometers. The road is mostly paved but can be narrow in some places, so drive with caution. There is parking available near the waterfall.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Madhabkunda Waterfall using public transportation, start at the Sylhet Bus Station. You can take a bus heading towards Moulvibazar and ask the conductor to drop you off at the nearest point to Madhabkunda. The bus fare is around 50-100 BDT, depending on the route. From the drop-off point, you may need to take a cycle rickshaw or walk approximately 2-3 kilometers to reach the waterfall. Ensure to confirm with locals for the best drop-off spot, as some buses may not go directly to Madhabkunda.

• Cycle Rickshaw

  If you are already in the Madhabkunda area and need to get to the waterfall, you can hire a cycle rickshaw from nearby locations. Negotiate the fare, which typically should not exceed 100-200 BDT for a round trip, depending on the distance. The rickshaw driver will take you directly to the entrance of the waterfall area, where you can explore the beautiful surroundings.

• Walking

  For those who are more adventurous, if you are staying close to Madhabkunda, walking is a great way to enjoy the scenic beauty. The area around the waterfall is picturesque, and walking allows you to fully appreciate the landscape. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, and carry sufficient water and snacks, as there may not be many shops nearby.
