If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Agartala, the capital city of Tripura. Head north on NH8 towards Dharmanagar. Continue driving for about 130 km until you reach Dharmanagar. Once in Dharmanagar, follow the signs towards Kailashahar and turn onto the Dharmanagar - Kailashahar Road (NH208). Drive for approximately 20 km, and you will reach the Unakoti Rock Carvings at the coordinates 24.3169807, 92.0668989. There is no entrance fee for the site.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Unakoti Rock Carvings via public transportation, you can take a bus from Agartala to Dharmanagar. Buses frequently operate from the Agartala Bus Terminal to Dharmanagar, and the fare is approximately INR 150-250 depending on the bus service. Once you arrive in Dharmanagar, you can hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to take you to Unakoti. The taxi fare is around INR 300-500 for the 20 km journey.
