In 2013, a comprehensive redevelopment project transformed the venue into a 2.01-kilometre FIA Grade 4 International Circuit. The redesigned circuit includes a Rallycross Track, a CIK Grade A Kart Circuit, and a one-eighth-of-a-mile Drag Strip. The grand reopening in 2014 was celebrated with the Top Gear Festival Barbados, which featured appearances by Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton.
