Public Transport
From Bridgetown, the most convenient way to reach Batts Rock Beach is by bus. Several bus routes (1, 1C, 1SA, 27, 56) operate from the Barbarees Hill terminal in Bridgetown to the Prospect area near Batts Rock. The bus fare is approximately $2 BBD, and the journey takes about 12 minutes. From the Prospect bus stop, it's a short walk to the beach entrance.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available in Bridgetown. A taxi ride to Batts Rock Beach will take approximately 3-5 minutes and cost between $14-$17 USD (approximately $28-$34 BBD). Be sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey. The taxi will drop you off at the car park above Batts Rock Beach, from where you can walk down to the beach.
Driving
If driving from Bridgetown, follow Highway 1 (also known as the West Coast Road) north. Drive for approximately 5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Batts Rock Beach. There is a free parking lot available near the beach entrance, but it can get crowded, especially during peak hours. Street parking is also available nearby.
Walking
If you are staying near the waterfront in Bridgetown, a scenic walk along the coast is an option. Start at the Carlisle Bay area and walk northwest along the shoreline. Follow the path past several beaches. The walk to Batts Rock Beach takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Look for signs indicating beach access points as you approach.
