Discover more about PEG Farm and Nature Reserve

PEG Farm and Nature Reserve offers a refreshing and immersive experience, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and a deep connection to the land. Once the site of the Easy Hall Plantation, this 108-acre property was transformed in 2013 into a biodynamic farm by Paul Bourne, embracing the principles of People, Environment, and Growth (PEG). Bourne's vision was to regenerate the land after centuries of monoculture farming, promoting holistic health and sustainable agriculture. Visitors can explore diverse landscapes, including orchards, kitchen gardens, and an evergreen forest. Free-range animals like cattle, pigs, and chickens roam freely, contributing to the farm's ecosystem. The Lokono Medicinal Garden reveals the traditional uses of local plants. Guided tours offer insights into the farm's history, biodynamic techniques, and the importance of biodiversity. A highlight is the Farmhouse restaurant, offering farm-to-table dining with innovative dishes made from fresh, local ingredients. Camping is also available, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of the surroundings. PEG Farm is not just a tourist attraction but a living, working community embodying a philosophy of sustainability and harmony with nature.
