Among the prized possessions is a one-of-a-kind 1947 Bentley Drophead Coupe, originally made for Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands and raced in the 1949 Monte Carlo Rally. Another notable vehicle is the 'A Mallalieu,' a hand-built Bentley crafted by Durham 'Derry' Mallalieu using a MK6 Bentley chassis. A rare 1953 Daimler Roadster, one of only 54 ever built, also graces the collection.Beyond the individual vehicles, the museum offers a broader perspective on the cultural impact of cars in Barbados. The walls are adorned with photographs and interesting information about the island's first bus, police car, and taxi. Bill Mallalieu's passion for automobiles is contagious, and he is often on hand to share his knowledge and experiences with visitors.
